We are requesting ALL NPs to email the Fiscal Policy Committee to VOTE NO on SB 1842! SB 1842 

(Out-of-network Providers) creates unnecessary punitive action against primary care providers if they do not provide written notice to the patient that referred services provided out-of-network may result in additional costs after confirming if the referral provider participates in the patient’s health insurer or health maintenance organization. 

We need you to oppose this bill with us.This bill is scheduled to heard at the Fiscal Policy Committee on Tuesday, April 22nd, at 11:00am.

Fill out the required contact information.
In the comment, keep it short! If you are a constituent of theirs, please write that so they know. “I am a constituent in your district. Please VOTE NO on SB 1842.”

If not a constituent, “Please VOTE NO on SB 1842.”

Then add, “This bill creates unnecessary punitive action against primary care providers and in turn creates a barrier to healthcare access, please VOTE NO.”
