SB 1842 (Out-of-network Providers) creates unnecessary punitive action against primary care providers if they do not provide written notice to the patient that referred services provided out-of-network may result in additional costs after confirming if the referral provider participates in the patient’s health insurer or health maintenance organization. We need you to oppose this bill with us.This bill is scheduled to heard at the Fiscal Policy Committee on Tuesday, April 22nd, at 11:00am. 1.
