2026 Florida Legislative Session Information

The 2026 Legislative Session is scheduled to formally begin January 13, 2026. Prior to the beginning of the legislative session key Committees will hold important meetings discussing legislation filed for the 2026 Florida Legislative Session.

Committees will meet in Tallassee preceding the legislative session on the following dates.

Delegation Meetings Public Hearings

To hear the thoughts and concerns of their constituents, Florida Legislators will hold meetings in their home districts. These meetings are important opportunities for community members to have their voices heard and share with legislators their priorities. To speak at these meetings on specific issues you will need to be placed on the agenda by filing a “speakers form”.
